26 February - ArtWorld Studio Gallery Photography Prize Opening Night

After the resounding success of our Portrait Prize, ArtWorld Studio Gallery is proud to invite you to our Photography Prize 2016 Opening/Prize-Giving Night. Photographs of all genres will be on display in the Gallery throughout the evening of Friday, 26 February, from 6pm to 8pm, and indeed for the remainder of the exhibition until 11 March.

Photography Prize 2016: Entries Due 12 February 2016

The ArtWorld Studio Gallery Photography Prize 2016 will exhibit the printed works of our photographer finalists: the very best submission will receive the $250.00 Grand Prize, to be announced at the Opening/Prize-Giving Night on Friday, 26 February 2016.

Visit the Photography Prize Submission Form Page, or click the "Submit Online Now" button, fill in the necessary details about yourself and your artwork, then read and accept our terms and conditions. Once you have paid the $30 submission fee online, your artwork will automatically be considered for the ArtWorld Studio Gallery Photography Prize 2016.

31 December 2015: Submission Due Date for ArtWorld Studio Gallery Portrait Prize 2016 Extended

All portraiture artists, aspiring and professional, now have the rest of 2015 available to submit their entries to the ArtWorld Studio Gallery Portrait Prize 2016. Entering is easy, through our online submission form at http://www.artworld-studio.com/portrait-prize-2016.html: all you need is an image of the artwork. Once you have paid the $30 submission fee, you are automatically considered for the Portrait Prize.

This opportunity to have your work/s featured in one of Brisbane's burgeoning art spaces is not to be missed. With a monetary prize on offer, be sure to submit your entries before 2016!

ArtWorld Studio Gallery Portrait Prize 2016 - Submissions Due 4 December 2015

Calling all painters, printers, sketchers, photographers, sculptors, and everyone in between! The inaugural ArtWorld Studio Gallery Portrait Prize is in its Submission phase, and we are actively seeking anyone with a knack for portraiture art. Once we have reviewed all of the submissions, we will select the best to be put on display in the Gallery. These portraits will form our next exhibition, on display from 11 January to 12 February 2016, immediately after Astrid's current exhibition: 'The Lure of Botanical Dreaming'.

Opening Night: 'The Lure of Botanical Dreaming'

On Friday evening of last week, the launch of ArtWorld Studio Gallery was celebrated with the opening night of ‘The Lure of Botanical Dreaming’, a colourful exhibition of paintings and prints.

Even with its recent renovations, the Gallery was packed, hosting art lovers who had travelled from far and wide to view the newest works of Astrid La Fleur. As the proud Owner and Curator of ArtWorld Studio Gallery, Astrid welcomed the crowd, and introduced Ben, the new Manager of the Studio Gallery.

Each of Astrid’s paintings and prints proved very popular, and several have already been sold. Featuring light refreshments, live musical accompaniment, and an interactive playhouse for the younger artists, the evening was an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

We are now counting down the days until the opening night of Astrid's exciting new exhibition 'The Lure of Botanical Dreaming'.
